Magic Scar

The ring seems to have been forged in the furnace of hell, its surface covered in fine scratches, each one like the mark of a demon claw scratching repeatedly, or like the confession symbols carved in despair by countless souls. A deep black cruciform recess is set in the center of the ring, as if it is absorbing the wearer's vitality and injecting some kind of ancient curse into the bloodstream. The whole ring exudes the smell of decaying metal mixed with incense, reminiscent of abandoned church crypts and uncompleted black mass rituals.
